We Might Have Started Singing Just a Little Soon

Well everyone, it was quite the week. yet again i am planner-less. so i will do my best.

Monday: lost my camera, i know exactly where it is though! just i dont have it with me. umm what else happened monday? cut my finger from getting too much rim. you know, it happens from time to time.

Tuesday: i dont really recall

Wednesday: had like a solid grade B+ district meeting this week. not bad not bad. This guy from the ward who drove us there drove us in his big huge diesel truck that runs on grease. it straight smelled like burgers when we got out of the truck.

Thursday: just kinda grinded that day, we had a ton of appointments set so we had to push weekly planning back to friday.

Friday: went and did some service out at a less active's place. weekly planned, then i dont really remember. im pretty sure a meth lab blew up so that was exciting.

Saturday: we had a baptism! it was really good! he asked me to speak so of course i knocked it out of the park. that was basically what i remember from saturday. the service was really good and it was just a really good experience to be able to see this man get baptized after all he has been through.

Sunday: we got hit with an ice storm so church was cancelled so we did the whole park-and-walk deal. you know what they say, work hard play hard.

so now its the time to play hard. its time i go ball it up with the other missionaries.

but first lets get to the good stuff.

mosiah 18:8-9
8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;

9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—

so i shared this... woah ok, so the font and the color and size all changed for the text and i dont really feel like trying to change it all back.

but so i shared that in my talk and it was just like a really spiritual moment in the talk and everyone was getting all misty eyed (yes, even i, the solid rock of a man you all know) and it was just a good reminder about the baptismal covenant.

i love you all! have a great week!

rural missouri is pretty high in meth. and we heard a pretty big boom. we drove by and it was a really ghetto house that blew up and was burning down. so we think it was a meth lab, but not sure.
