It's Hump Day!!

so the thing i was holding was our DVD player. nope we dont get i pads or tablets or anything exciting. so i dont have a ton of info for christmas. but i do know where we are eating dinner. i am going to try my hardest to go up to springfield and spend some time with elder gehring. did i tell you his birthday? its december 1st 1995. sounds awfully familiar doesnt it? we were definitely meant to be the best of friends. oh man i love that kid to death. so the area is MASSIVE i get to drive a truck which is a lot of fun. its a 2015 nissan frontier. its got rear wheel drive so that kinda sucks but thats alright. the work here was dead for the longest time but as of last transfer things have really picked up. we tract everyday so things are still picking up which is fun. tracting in area's like this you get a ton of stories. what else? this town is really small, and really ghetto.

so for the package if they say to send it to the office id say to send it there i guess. but i did get your letter! actually yeah send my package to the office. they will probably bring them to the mission conference on the 21st. i am soo excited for that. i get to see elder gehring and elder lopez all under the same roof. also, me and my companion get along really well, and were going to be making a christmas card hopefully so ill get that in the mail soon. also, could you send a christmas card to the sherwoods? i dont have their address off the top of my head, but you have her number. wait, are you doing a card this year?

so anyways, i should get going. halfway done already though! doesnt seem like it at all to me. its been a blast!

love you!

Well Hello There!!

It was so much fun to get an actual letter from you that even included a picture!! Thank you so much!! I will write you a letter also so I will keep this short.

I am so glad to hear that you are no longer sick. I am so sorry that you had to go through that especially on transfer day. That must have been very hard.

A couple of questions about you picture. Are you holding a tablet and do you use them? Did you get your camera back?

Tell me about the area and ward. Also tell me about your companion and the how the work is going.

I just got a package ready for you and Dad just got it into the mail. It should be there by Wednesday or Thursday. I will get your Christmas package together and in the mail in the next day or so. Should I mail it directly to you or should I mail it to the mission office? I just saw on the ABM facebook page to mail the packages to the mission office. Do you think that is what I should do? I know that you will be there next Monday so you would be able to get it then. Did you get the package that we sent this week? I thought you needed to have a tree, even if it was just a little tree. You can just throw it away after Christmas or leave for the Elders next year. I have decided that having your Birthday, Hump Day and Christmas all in the same month is a little over the top as far as packages go but oh well. It's been fun getting them all together.

Speaking of Hump Day......It has been a year!! Wow! In some ways it's gone by fast and in some ways really slow. It's been a busy year with a new grand baby and a wedding so that has helped the time go by faster but I still miss you tons. I wouldn't want you to be anywhere else though. I know you are where you are supposed to be.

I also am wondering about Christmas. Do you know where you will be on Christmas and when you get to call or skype? I am very excited to get to see and talk to you again!!

I signed up to have our Elders here on Christmas Eve. I am really looking forward to having them come. When I signed up we didn't have them on Christmas but they changed our dates and now we do. That's okay though I am excited to have them on Christmas Eve. I don't know how long they will be able to stay though. I wouldn't think they will have any appointments or anything but I guess you never know. Last year the Sisters had a few parties to go to after they had dinner with us on Christmas Day.

Well I will go for now and write you a letter because I know that your time is limited. I will include a scripture in that letter.

I will love you forever
Mom
