Though i Seem Cool Calm and Collected. Making My Way to a Hipster With Glasses

what a week it was for elder olsen. there were some ups, there were some downs. some slammed doors, some tears.. of joy, amongst other missionary-related things and such.

so theres not much time today so we will just get right down to business.

monday was chill. mostly just emailed and hung around. not complaining. it was nice. i mean 6 to 9 we did some stuff, but that was about it.

before we hop right in to tuesday im going to apologize, i dont seem to have my planner so i dont really remember what happened this week.

Tuesday: you can bet we did service and tried finding new people to teach.

Wednesday: we had district meeting up in fayetteville and guess who instructed? thats right, i did. when dont i is the real question. the real answer would be about 4 weeks ago.

Thursday: im going to go out on a limb here and say we weekly planned and tried finding new people to teach. also, did some service in the morning at this 2nd hand shop and they love us there! so they let me pick through the ties and pick as many as i wanted! i got 3 new ties out of the deal!

Friday: dont really recall friday either: i can guarantee you somehow someway we tried to find new people to teach.

Saturday: again, i dont really remember what happened except for finding. like i said, i forgot my planner so im a walking disaster right now. the whole week was like a blur. i dont really remember it at all. it just kind of happened. i was sitting in my bed saturday night and said: "wait, its saturday? i thought we just emailed yesterday. well, we did, but we didnt. i know it wasnt yesterday but i thought it was!" thats how my week was.

Sunday: was pretty good. we taught gospel principles and i must say we killed it! probably. we ended up missing 3rd hour cause there was an older man in our ward who is diabetic and missed the sacrament, so we gave him the sacrament, and took him out to his truck and waited with him til his blood sugar rose enough to where he felt comfortable driving. #sketchy but he was cool! he told us some war stories and stuff, the guy was a navy seal and other crazy things. pretty hardcore guy.

so that seems to be the week for me. sorry its like really lame, maybe i can promise to do better, for next weeks email so it has some excitement. but also, maybe not.

so this weeks scripture comes from the big one. thats right, jacob 5.

71 And the Lord of the vineyard said unto them: Go to, and labor in the vineyard, with your might. For behold, this is the last time that I shall nourish my vineyard; for the end is nigh at hand, and the season speedily cometh; and if ye labor with your might with me ye shall have joy in the fruit which I shall lay up unto myself against the time which will soon come.

so what i liked about this scripture, is putting the emphasis on "with me." cause thats how this work needs to be done. with him. otherwise nothing will happen. anyways, just thought that was cool.
