YO! fooled you all! you all thought that i got in an accident!!! well i did and i ripped my pants and scrapped myself pretty badly. so maybe family, you could send another pair of pants? haha
this week has been a super productive week. we've met a ton of new people and are finding a lot of new people to teach. this week we have focused on inviting others to come unto Christ. that means we talked to everyone we saw! bringing up religion isn't that easy. but when we know that the restored gospel can bless not only their lives but their families as well, it makes it a lot easier. looking back and seeing the blessings from knowing that god still talks to men today and knowing that he has called a living prophet today has definitely blessed me and my family. knowing that the church that Jesus Christ established while he was on the earth is restored to the earth today has made my family closer and more unified. of course i finally realize this when i'm 10,000 miles away from my family.
well some interesting facts about South Africa:

thanksgiving isn't a thing here
waking up at 6:30 every morning is starting to be easier for me. as missionaries we study for 2 hours in the morning and i'm actually starting to want more time to study! right now i'm reading the Book of Mormon and loving every second of it! the Book of Mormon truly has teachings from our Heavenly Father. Each copy of the Book of Mormon has a page called the introduction. this page introduces the Book of Mormon and explains where it came from, who it is for, and why it is here today. i had never have read this page until I actually came on a mission. reading this has changed how i view the book of Mormon and has increased my love for this Heaven sent scripture. I love serving the people of south Africa! i love serving the Lord and bringing His children back to him. see ya next week!!!
