La Piedra Ward, Menifee, California

Elder Jonathan Austin

Un propósito sabio

hello all. I hope this email finds you well and safe from diseases, conspiracies, and witches! I believe I'm wise to the latter two, but you can never be too careful... listen to "Witchcraft and How it Enters Your Home" to be raised to the wokedness that I have been wokened to.

this week was いい (good), the work is 難しい (difficult) but always filled with good experiences :)
we were lucky enough to get some news late last night, which is that we can go contacting people on the street again! that is huge for us because we normally just make calls to Cali numbers all day but now we get a little more sanity to missionary life! we've been told not to go crazy and not to just leave all of our new finding methods behind (Facebook, number calling) but to try and do it all. I'm excited!!

some highlights were:
-a ridiculously huge dinner we got from an awesome member family. I could barely walk after haha-playing piano in the church!!! so grateful for that
-piano music, mom. such a blessing to me and it gives me closure to know that there ARE songs I can play haha
-we just tye dyed shirts with our stake presidents family for a fun home evening!!
-Pokémon with my district leader today

one really cool thing that happened this week was we had a zone leader exchange where I stayed in my area with my ZL from Samoa!! he's really an amazing missionary. I got to learn a lot from him about work and also Samoa so that's fun! one thing he taught me more about was Facebook Finding—so I joined a group for residents of Menifee (because I am in fact one of those...) and posted a little post about a cool sunset I saw on a bike ride, and how I was grateful for God's creations. it got so much love on the post!
I was really grateful to bring some light to people's days and find some cool new teaching opportunities, and I know that everyone can do that the exact same way!! Find ways to bring light to others lives, yall, it's its own reward :)

PicturesI maintain my philosophy about the pictures sending out of order but if you look really hard you can find:

my cool Samoan zone leader and me in masks
a bike ride after service
a bomb scripture
something for all my Naruto fans,
and more.

feel free to send questions!! ;)
