So this week was good! Super, super good, a little long, a little short, pero bueno.
Directly to the title this time, a "testigo" in Spanish is a "witness". The Jehovah's Witnesses here are called "Testigos de Jehovah" and they always try to fight us, haha. It's all fun and games.
But this past week we met a family that's cousins of some members, that are all from Peru, that have a son who is doing missionary work for the JWs. Elder Rojas is always super nice with everyone and everyone just loves him instantly, so somehow we got invited to go to their house one day to make tacos. No one here has eaten good old Mexican food, so everyone wants to eat tacos from Elder Rojas. Then the JW son came, and we just talked about ideas over the tacos, it was super tranquilo.
A great part of the week was buying a mate cup with a llama on it that I love, pictures attached
With transfers, my friend Elder Woodward from Utah got moved to the Coast so we don't get to see each other anymore, but another elder from Utah came who's super nice! He's companions with my friend from Bolivia, Elder Arce.
