Week 45: Happy Mothers Day

Hey ya'll!

This week was pretty cool. Not a whole lot of new stuff happened but it was still a good week.

On Friday we had District Council and that was a really great council meeting! We got to know sister Clegg who is new in our district. Then I went on a split with Elder Johnson. We went to Iserlohn for a service project for Bruder Genster. We helped tear his garden house down which was a lot of fun.

Then on Saturday we finished the split and Elder Haywood and I went back to Bruder Genster's house and did some more service because it was also an Elders Quoroms activity. We had a German BBQ which is traditionally bratwursts, steaks and potatoe salad. It was so good!

On Sunday we went to church and we had dinner with Bruder Kramer. It was also mother's Day so we called our families and that it always really nice.

On Monday we had the leadership phone call for all of the missionaries serving in a leadership positions. That was really inspiring. The assistants to the president talked a lot about repentance and always trying to improve. We also went to the Familie Wächtler's house and had lunch and then that night we went and visited Bruder Kambi who is a member of the church from Congo!

On Tuesday we had District Council again and the Nowak's gave a cool talk on the German language and culture. Later that day we had a lesson with Tatyana and it went really well. That night we also went by a less-active member's home but she wasn't there.

On Wednesday we did some service by mowing a member's lawn. Then we had dinner with Schwester Kleinert and Bruder Gerne-Groß and then we visited another member who lives near Schwester Kleinert.

Today we chilled and are going to institute tonight. That's it! Have an awesome week!
