Gruß Gott,

I hope everyone had a great week! We were really packed this week so our went by really quickly.

On Friday we had a missionary split and I was with Elder Koch. He is from Utah and is one of the zone leaders in the Dortmund Zone. We had two meal appointments on Friday-- One was with an older couple in our ward and the other was the couple's son and his family. We ate really good food and it was a great time. That night me and Elder Koch made fried Oreos and they were super good!

On Saturday we finished the split in Dortmund and then we rode the train back to Hagen and called some people and did our studies.

On Sunday, we of course had church, and my companion gave a talk on humility and it was really good. After church we came home and had some lunch and did our studies. Later on that night we had an appointment with a guy named Roman. He is from the Ivory Coast and is way cool. We committed him to read the Book of Mormon and to pray about it. It was a great lesson.

On Monday we had three appointments and two of them were helping people learn German. They were both from the Middle East and it was really interesting trying to help them with their German because we're not perfect at it either-- haha!!! Then we went to this other guy's house and had a meeting with him. He is from Turkey and we gave him a Book of Mormon in Turkish and committed him to come to church on Sunday-- It was awesome!

On Tuesday we met with a guy from Iran and taught him about the Book of Mormon and gave him one in Persian. We then had an amazing lesson with a lady named Maria and her husband, Ahmed. We taught them about the Ten Commandments and the Word of Wisdom. We committed Maria to live them both so it was great.

On Wednesday we went to one of the government buildings and set up a street display. We then had a meeting with our ward mission leader because he is the guy who helps us the most with missionary work in the ward and that meeting went really well.

And then today is Pday so we chilled and went shopping. We also went to the city and ate and looked at some of the festivities because it is Carnival here. Carnival is basically the German form of the Mardi Gras. And then we are going to write our emails and talk to our families! Tonight we have an appointment with a guy from the Philippines who is really cool so hopefully it will be a great lesson.

Anyways, that's my week! I love sharing the gospel with people. It brings so much joy into my life and I am thankful for it everyday.

Have a great week!
Elder Rich
