HELLO! HELLO!!
I have some stories:)
This week we had some really good experiences working with members, so that was good. One day we were heading to see an inactive sister who was sick, with her friend who is a more active member. She wasn't home which was a bummer, so we started walking this brother back home. As were crossing this street, Beatles style with Elder Clawson then me then Hermano Carasco, a police car comes rolling through. I wave him to stop which it looks like he is, so we continue walking, but the cop doesn't stop and he straightup HITS BROTHER CARASCO WITH HIS COP CAR! It was awful. Luckily it wasn't too hard of a hit, but still this 80 year old man was just hit with a cop car so were a little worried. And Hno Carasco is demanding us to get the cops name and info but we're missionaries so idk if that's okay, and then a million cops show up, and we have to talk to them bc we were witnesses and whatever, but mind you my spanish is rough and I was the one who saw it all better than anyone. So that was fun, and stressful. Luckily he is doing really well. We went by his house the next day and he was working on his car so he is apparently good.
next story.
THE GIFT OF TONGUES IS REAL!!
We had a lesson but Elder Clawson had lost his voice, so I had to lead the lesson, AND I REMEMBERED THE WORDS TO SAY, I talked and they understood!!! They talked and I understood!! I've been here for three little crazy weeks, there's no way that`s possible on my own, especially being as dumb as I am. God is doing his work, whether or not it makes sense logically. Also the sun has made me look like a latino, so people assume I can talk so they listen, and talk to me, which is cool. I have started to be able to understand, more or less of what's going on. This is so cool. I am so blessed. The church is true.
LOVE YOU ALL! Miss you!
