One Year Older, Wiser?

HEY! What's up?!

I've officially been away from my family for over a year. Whoa. Where did that year go?? The feeling of reaching your half-way point is like when you're family sends you a bunch of great candies, but as you open it up you realize THEY'RE ALREADY HALF GONE!!! haha very clever. But really, a little surreal. Excited to have something really great and sweet but also bummed that you only have half left to eat and enjoy. Enjoy every moment we have people. It's a blessing.

So I treated myself to some Subway and a giant mango bing!! And we made some ghetto poo cookies. Just threw everything in a pot and then the air was too hot and moist to let them cool so we tried putting them in the fridge. "I'll start my diet tomorrow"

A drunk man thought I was at least 30 years old and had kids. Do I really look that old?

Friday a man in a convenience store bought us some waters cuz it was so hot and at night we went to get Taiwanese crepes on the way home and after talking with lady who had never seen missionaries before, she gave us the crepes for free because she felt so bad for us. We were seeing different kinds of miracles this week.

So Sister Chen has been SO busy this last week, we literally didn't see her once. But everything should still be set to go for her baptism this Saturday! Keep praying for her! We're also going to go eat dinner with her and her husband on Thursday night so we're really excited about that!!

I've been thinking a lot this week about Abraham 3:25. Abraham sees the grand council in heaven and in talking about creating the earth for us to be on, he recorded "And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them;" This week has been a lot of finding...or at least looking. haha. When things are tough, we have the choice to be exactly obedient and labor with our might, no matter what we "feel" like doing. And the time we have to prove ourselves is so short, as I'm realizing more and more with how fast time seems to be going. So LET'S GO!! Work our hardest while we have the chance! Gotta love it.

Love you all!! Have a great week!
