What a Life!

Hello!!! What another glorious week here on the beautiful island of Taiwan!

You're not gonna believe this but I literally bowled a 196 last pday. You read that right. 196. I was just floating on a cloud after skyping the family and just could not miss. No bumpers. Anyways, pretty proud of myself and it was a great start to the week. Hahaha

I'm down another pair of pants. My black ones have a nice hole from thinning out too much. Why does that even happen? Hehe

I also got to help out a member on the upper range of the age spectrum figure out how to use the soda machines at Costco. Hahaha oh my, ya just had to be there.

Saturday night, while reviewing the day, I had another one of those "it's great to be a missionary" moments. I got to finish up exchanges with Elder Davis who is such a stud. We went and got some delicious monster pizza, had a lesson with a golden new investigator, ate some mango for dinner, had a stellar baptism for brother Zhang, and our ward mission leader bought us some heavenly mango smoothies!! Anywhere else, doing anything else, we just would not be able to have these kinds of awesome experiences.

I had my last official interview with President Teh. I know that he is called of God and is so incredibly in tune to the Spirit. I've received so much revelation and inspiration from him. I'm so grateful to be able to serve with him!

In 1 Nephi 8:12-16 the prophet Lehi saw his family and saw that they didn't know how to get themselves to the tree of life. SO, he waved and shouted to help his family know where to go along the straight and narrow path! I think it's so interesting that he wasn't passive, assuming his family would figure it out on their own. I think we all definitely have that same kind of obligation to do everything we can to help our brothers and sisters know where to go along the path! Those are my thoughts.

Love you all!! Have a great week!
