HEEELLLLOOOOO!!!!! How are ya!? I'm doing great! haha
This week I basically backpacked for a couple days because of exchanges. We went to the mission home after zone conference and then the next day I went to QingShui!!! hahaha. Good times. They're teaching a college student from Washington, so it's all in English. It was really weird. Plus we were in a trio at the time...2 OR 3 witnesses!
Anyways, Elder Council got sick this week, so we tried some Chinese medicine thing where I had to basically bruise his back with a glass bowl. hahaha. Not sure we did it right, but he's feeling better now.
Speaking of Elder Council, HE GONE!!!! Off to white wash into my very first district in a place called Yuan Lin. My new companion is Elder Johsnon from Saratoga Springs!! He's a stud. He was our district leader just barely so not exactly a giant change. He's got 3 months left and a great work ethic so basically we're just going to throwdown.
Brother Ding passed his baptismal interview this last week so that'll happen this week. And then we're having another Plan of Salvation activity for the Christmas party this weekend. WWoooo HOOO!!! Then Christmas! (Wasn't it just barely Christmas?? Where does the time go...)
We went caroling at a nursing home this week with some ward members and our investigator, Sister Lin came. She's just amazing. And that service was really different from what we've done with old people in the past, because nobody here could move without someone pushing their wheelchair. It was a lot more solemn, but still a great experience. #Worldlit就好了!
Jesus Christ is the gift. Being in a country that has hardly any commercial Christmas decorations/celebrations has really helped me zero in on the true meaning of Christmas. He is the gift, but He also gave us all a gift through His atoning sacrifice. How grateful are we for that?
