Dear friends and Family,
I am doing sooooooo marvelous! Life is wonderful! I have got to say, it has felt like a few months since I've been gone.. and it's also felt like 1 day! It's weird! It doesn't make sense! It feels like I shouldn't already be leaving the MTC! But I am and it is sooooooo crazy!
This week was fun! I always play basketball and foursquare at Gym time, and I am the king of Four Square! In the four Square game here if you last 20 rounds you get to make a rule.. my friends and I have made rules twice! It is the best!
I play knockout a lot too, it brings me back to my freshman and sophomore years of high school... I still got it!
Even better than gym time though, is class time! In our building we have 6 teachers assigned to our floor. For a while though, Only my district was here! So there were 6 teachers and only 8 students! We got lots of one on one time and I got to know all of the teachers decently well! They are all incredible people! I gotta say though, and I know my district feels the exact same way - Out of all the teachers.. We had the best two permanently assigned to us! It is incredible! We have Hermano Jordan
Byers and Hermana Kandice Tuft! They are the best!
I got to teach quite a few lessons this week, and I think it is thanks to the Holy Ghost that I am getting better! It is awesome how well the Holy Ghost can guide someone when they speak, and I have felt that here!
I just want you all to know, I love you so much! My thought for all of you this week is on faith! What is the difference between faith and a belief?
Faith leads you to action! While belief may not. Faith leads you to do things because of what you
believe!! So, to all of you who profess to have faith I encourage you to take action! I'm giving this same challenge to myself, so I want to see how it goes for everyone! If you have a faith in Christ let's follow
his advice! Visit the elderly, help out the sick, love everybody and love God! It is amazing how much you can accomplish when you just start trying to follow Christ's advice! If you have felt Christ act as your
Savior, ask yourself, "What am I going to do now? How am I going to be changed because of Him? Who else needs to learn about Him?"
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Let's get yoked to Christ! Let's start taking part in His work! That is His personal invitation to each of us! Take his yoke upon you!
I love you all so much! I miss you but I am glad to be out here! Remember how wonderful your potential is, and keep the faith!
