Golden!

Dear friends and family,This week was an excellent one. I felt incredibly lucky and blessed to have experienced what I did! God is great to me! Unfortunately... This next week could be the last week I am here in the wonderful city of Mar De Ajo. Six months has not been long enough, so part of me is hoping I will stay! I won't know until Thursday though, so you all won't know until the next Monday. Stay tuned ;)

This week we found a new investigator, his name is Nico. He was incredibly excited to hear us, and as we taught he told us that he felt our words were true. He asked us to come back the next day. When we came back, he told us he had prayed and that he felt that the church was true. I felt the Spirit of God so strongly in that moment, He told me that Nico was coming unto Christ, that Nico was prepared, and that he was a great person. I felt so blessed to be in that tiny wood house with three noisy kids and an awesome man named Nico.

Yesterday, President Nunez came down to the coast and we had a stake (district) conference meeting. The messages were great, especially what President Nunez taught us.

President Nunez was a lawyer by profession, and one time in his life he was called on to defend a company. The company's case was hopeless, they had obviously and blatantly done wrong, and there was no hope to vindicate them. They were undefendable and in the wrong. Before presenting his argument, President Nunez asked for forgiveness in behalf of the company and stated the facts as they were. He didn't win the case, but for his apology and attitude the judge dropped the penalty of the case significantly.

Our case before God is indefensible. We have obviously done wrong each time we disobey His commandments. No argument can vindicate us, no information can change the fact. It is clear and true, we are guilty before God. Luckily, we have Jesus Christ. He acts as our lawyer and as a perfect being, He forgives us for what we have done and allows us to obtain forgiveness. But, we need to ask Him for His help. We need to come to Him. As we do that, I promise we can leave behind any feelings of guilt we have, I promise we can become clean.

I love you all and hope things are excellent in your lives! Carry on Carry on Carry on!

Hurrah for Israel!
