Companion

Elder Aguirre

Another One Rides The Bus

Dear friends and family,This week was another great one! In Florencio Varela there are six elders in the pension, so there is always a friend close by. The district leader and the zone leaders live with me, so it is easy to ask questions when I have some.

Elder Aguirre is an interesting guy. He is literally the best cook I have ever seen or met in my life. He can make anything delicious with any ingredients, and he knows the names and histories of foods I have never even heard of! He knows everything about food!! He is seriously a chef and it makes me happy. I eat well everybody, don't worry =)

The members here in El Parque are great too, they give us lunch almost every day. I am afraid I'm going to get fat here.

Elder Aguirre is a quiet guy. He has had a rough life, and looks at everything in a serious and logical way. He likes to laugh though, and if you have a good joke he will enjoy it. He doesn't like music, he literally does not listen to any type of music. It is weird to me! I have never known anyone who doesn't like music, but I still love the guy. He loves anime. He is the oldest of 7 kids. He was born in Italy and grew up in Chile.

I am doing well! I love this area a lot. I seriously feel at home here! Elder Aguirre and I are going to work hard!

My thought of the week is a scripture in the Bible, a man once asked Jesus: "What lack I yet?" I encourage you all to think about that question, pray to God about that question, and then work on what you feel!

I love you all, carry on my friends and family!

Hurrah for Israel!
-Elder Keeley
