Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you all have an awesome week.
This week was the best week since last week! It is crazy it is almost Christmas, it is crazy it is almost 2016! The year flew by! This makes no sense.
Elder Gatto is a great companion. I am having the time of my mission training him! We are both learning a lot, growing a lot, and becoming better missionaries. I love training! It is so fun and so incredible. Elder Gatto and I get along well, so that helps too.
We have two families that are really starting to progress. The Maruri family and the Saucedo family. They are incredible people and we always feel the Spirit when we talk with them. We actually stopped and talked about it, and they were surprised to feel the Spirit so strongly in their home! They are reading a lot, praying often, and the Maruri family went to church! Plus, they are both just great families that I love talking to. Elder Gatto and I always have fun with them.
This Christmas is going to be a great one! I live in a pension with four Elders and it is a good time, we will enjoy Navidad together!
My thought for you all is on your hearts! God wants us to want what He wants! He doesn't just want us to do good things (although doing good things is great), He doesn't want us to just say nice things (although nice words are nice), and He doesn't want us to have good thoughts and intentions. He asks us to have good words, good deeds, and good thoughts! He asks us to want good things, to change our natural being! The Gospel won't just change our behavior, it will change who we are. It asks a lot of us, but what we receive in return is greater than anything we can give.
I hope you all are enjoying an amazing Christmas season. It truly is a special time of year! I am enjoying Summer (Which officially began today) and sun burns. It is weird having Christmas without coldness!
I want you all to know that I love each and every one of you. That I know that Jesus Christ and God love you. That the scriptures are true and any person can read them and find comfort in them if they really want to. I want you to know that President Thomas S Monson is a prophet and that the church that Jesus Christ established was restored. We are eternal! We are children of God and I am glad I will know each one of you forever.
Family: I will be calling for Skype on the 25th at 2 PM in Argentina time. That will be 10 o´clock in Utah! I will see all of you soon! I love you all and I hope you have an amazing Christmas.
