HAPPY EASTER/GENERAL CONFERENCE!! Hope everyone had a wonderful day enjoying celebrating the resurrection of Christ by listening to our amazing prophet, President Nelson! As for Japan, we will be watching next week due to translation, but I am so very excited to hear the advice of our leaders!!
In Japan right now we are ending sakura (cherry blossom) season which is so sad. Sister Hansen and I celebrated the season by going out to the most beautiful park with sakura trees lining the path and so many people to talk to. On our way back we were biking slower than turtle's grandmothers, to enjoy the quiet and experienced "hanafubuki" which is a storm of falling cherry blossoms. One of the happiest/peaceful/quiet experiences ever. Made me realize how much I have truly grown to love Japan and all the people who live in it. There are so many special and prepared people for us to influence everyday. God is good and missions are great.
If you have a minute this week, please read Mark 9:14-30 and think about the example of service that Christ places before us. He has given us the perfect step-by-step guide to truly help everyone around us!
I realized that a week and a half ago I hit a year in Japan. I feel so blessed to be here every second that I am!! Also it snowed again that day, which never happens in March here! that + sakura = blessings!!
